Our overmasters are at it again

My post of a photo of a butterfly on a flower was "unpublished" because it was deemed to violate some sort of standard.  The photo was of a Vanessa Cardui butterfly.  Here is a reference that one can look at to verify its nickname which was used on the original post:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanessa_cardui

This is the photo:

Paper Wasps

Frank: On 08/28/2010 I photographed this paper wasp nest in our yard. It is six feet off the ground in the red maple adjacent to the deck. Photo (A) is the west side looking a little rough yet. Photo (B) is the west side one hour later with finishing touches completed. Photo (C) shows the entrance on the east side of the paper wasp nest. I don't know how long it took the wasps to complete the nest, but it was definitely less than six days. I hope the woodpeckers don't tear it apart this Fall. It will make a nice specimen nest.

Wisconsin #2

The picture is of Big Doe's new twins. They were playing in the yard for quite awhile. Decided to take a rest break.

Wisconsin #1

Very hot and humid the last two days. Some relief tonight with the temperature dropping into the mid 60's. Weather bothers the animals also. Little Doe and her fawn found some relief in the shade where the breeze comes down the driveway..
